BACKGROUND
Lucinda A Haab,
RLATg has 25+ years experience in the laboratory animal facility
management field. She graduated with High Honors (4.0 GPA) from the
Veterinary Technology program at SUNY Delhi in 1985. For 23 years
she was the Director of Antibody Production, Director of Regulatory
Compliance and IACUC Chairperson at PRF&L (Pocono Rabbit Farm and
Laboratory) in Canadensis, PA. During that
time, AAALAC visited PRF&L
4 times over 12 years, the most recent being in November 2005. All
four AAALAC visits resulted in Full Accreditation with no further
suggestions for improvement. AAALAC site visitors would comment on
the well-written and organized Program Descriptions that were
submitted. Other companies began to seek out Lucinda and ask her
assistance in writing their Program Descriptions. This was how
Allied Laboratory Animal Care Consulting Services (ALACCS) was
founded in January 2006.
